The Family DogGay Comics #22, 1994 Gay Comics is where I met longtime friends & mentors Jennifer Camper and Howard Cruse, who was the anthology's first editor and worked hard to make a comic book that was 1) about the actual lives of gay people and 2) reached out to female creators. It paved the way for the likes of Juicy Mother.
