Yvonne becomes obsessed, and asks the question that can't be answered.

Standing tall in the teeming crowd of lesbian comic strips — it’s the cartoon for the cranky urban girl in all of us!

Bitter Girl began as angry, needy doodles in the margins of a journal during an ill-fated affair. It first ran as a full-length comic in Minneapolis' late, lamented FocusPoint in 1998. Since 2001, the strip has been distributed by Q Syndicate.

Read the archives here and new episodes as follows:

Weeklyish on my blog (click on strips to enlarge). But that runs a few weeks behind, out of respect to my regular subscribers below. Please patronize them! You can find a full list of Q Syndicate subscribers here, but the Bitter Girl All-Stars are:

Philadelphia Gay News Weekly in the Detour section.

Seattle Gay News Weekly; scroll down to "Cartoons" in the red sidebanner.

Pridesource Michigan's LBGT paper. Weekly in the Arts & Entertainment section.

Dallas Voice Weekly in the Amusements section.

South Florida Gay News NEW Q Syndicate subscriber, comics in Life & Style section, doesn't seem to have the hang of updating the strips regularly yet, so contact them & tell them you want your regular BG!

Gay Calgary Quarterlyish, runs 4 strips at a time. Oh, Canada!

Gmax, a South African site (really), is no longer current with Q Syndicate, but does host a Bitter Girl archive from July 2003 ("Sore Chooser") to October 2007 ("Weightlifting").

Lesbian Connection (Print edition only.)

Please let me know where you're reading it!
