Rebecca cruises an Olympic swimmer, but can't get up the nerve to go in the deep end. Cannonball!

Standing tall in the teeming crowd of lesbian comic strips...

It’s the cartoon for the cranky urban girl in all of us!

Bitter Girl began as angry, needy doodles in the margins of a journal during an ill-fated love affair. It first ran as a full-length comic in Minneapolis' late, lamented FocusPoint in 1998.

The strip has been exclusively distributed by Q Syndicate since 2001.

Read it weekly on the Web and in print:

Seattle Gay News - Now archiving their back issues so you can pick up where Gmax (see below) left off! Go to their home page, scroll down to "Past Editions" and check out "Cartoons" in the October 26 issue to catch up ("Sulkscreening").

Lavender Magazine - Minneapolis comes through again, with 2 strips a week in the "Back Talk" section.

Dallas Voice - Great paper. Hit "Download Current Issue" and head for the back pages, which also feature Dykes to Watch Out For, A Couple of Guys, Kyle's Bed & Breakfast and Murphy's Manor.

Chicago Free Press. (Print edition only.)

The New York Blade. (Print edition only.)
